The room was darker than usual; shadows cascaded against the walls heavily and draped against the white cloaked figure as if trying to ink it out of existance. Naturally, the attempt was futile, darkness would never cover the light.

A sigh echoed in the large chamber, the darkened figure tapping a finger against the arms of the throne in impatience.    Finally, the rapping sound of a fist against the chamber door came and the figure straightened its seat, posture forbidding and regal.

  "Enter."

The figure rose to its feet, startled and surprised at the news a much smaller form had reported. "You're absolutely sure?" the figure asked, nervousness lacing the voice.

The form in front gave a quick nod in response. "Are they aware? Tell me, have they awoken yet?"

"Who else knows?" the figure was pacing now, voice worried and demanding as the enemy came to mind. "Any of the other warriors? The enemy? Who saw you come here tonight?"

The small form shifted from foot to foot, unnerved by the superior's agitated aura.

"How can you be sure?" The figure looked at the smaller hooded form, voice firm. "Where did you hear it from?"

The reply was quiet, the superior had to strain to hear. The figure nodded in grim acceptance upon hearing the reply. "Your gift is quite useful my dear. Thank you for telling me as soon as you could."

"Do you know how to find them?" The figure asked, pausing his pacing. Another silent nod. "All of them?"

There seemed to be a moment of hesitation from the messenger before a motion of reassurance was made.

"You will bring them here. We cannot let this opportunity pass again! We will keep them here until proven ready. We can't let them slip through our hands!"

"I don't care how!" The meeker form flinched back at the yell. "Just get them here! Take whoever you want, use whatever you must! Just do it soon. We cannot waste time."

"I can't appear to them now; not like this. Go now, I must prepare."

The small hooded form nodded, white robes flowing as they hurried to the double doors. One of the grand wooden blockers was already pushed back before the tall figure looked up.

"Wait. Remember to be careful. We can't let Satan know."
