Looks:

A friend would describe Honey as 'young'. Certainly, in size she is rather tall; the female stands straight at almost twelve inches high, thirty inches from head-to-tail. Her body is lithe, but strong; muscles are powerful enough to climb trees on the island, jump from branches, run in the sandy shore, and even swim in the water. She didn't gain a large body like her mother and instead has a lithe form like her father. She'd look more fit if her fur weren't so fluffy, if her long tail weren't as thick and didn't flicker around her whole body like a large beech leaf.

Needless to say her long and tall form certainly doesn't look young. Her body adorns many scars beneath her pelt, but most aren't even noticeable. The dark rusty brown fur instead protects others from viewing the marred sights, deeper patterns along her fur distract the eyes from seeking deeper into her pelt. Even if one were to try and dig deeper, even by accident during a grooming session, it's hard to get past the thick fur. While Honey does respect herself, she doesn't seem to exclude time from a busy schedule to go out of her way to actually groom her pelt more than maybe a few times week - and that is mostly done to hush upset denmates. Even worse, it's hard to tell her exact pelt color; and no one is sure if that's because it's cleanliness varies, or if it's the lighting. The thick fur can be described like a sunset; from the brightest red hues with maroon tabby tints, or a deep messy brown like her with dark muddy stripes.

One thing interesting about this she-cat is that her claws are not unsheathed until final seconds before making a blow. She uses her tactful mind to determine how much force is needed, and if scratching up an opponent will be necessary. While her paws aren't large like a toms, long legs help her deliver the force needed to defend and protect.

The youngest part of Honey's body adorns her face. While the whole head itself has been left unmarred thus far, the she-cats eyes are bright like a kits, yet are a window to a very wise and old soul. Large, wide optics like hers are very hard to describe; a base color of amber and honey as her namesake, but with a mix of dark chocolate and hazel to give the whole pool of color a beautiful blend. The most fascinating thing is that she always seems fascinated. No matter her anger, her fear, her sadness, or even her love with another near her, her eyes light up like she's watching one's soul unfold, analyzing everything.

Even though both eyes always seem bright and knowing, Honey does have a weakness that is well hidden; her left eye is damaged, and hardly sees anything more than shapes.

Personality:

----Good

Motherly
Honey also believes in the lives of innocence; that kits should not be blamed on the wrong-ding of the parent and solely judges those around her based on their own actions. In this way she is very open and has become a mother-like figure to apprentices; allowing herself to become an open ear to talk to and willing to take on all their burdens to help them succeed. She becomes what she must to protect those she loves and fights for those she trusts. However, she has been known to scold those younger and than her and insert herself as a mother figure with or without permission.

Intelligent
At a young age she has had a strong sense of wonder, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge. She has an amazing eye for detail; her observations are accurate and lead her to more conclusions and questions. Learning in a rapid movement, she's fast with creating tactic skills and deduction. She passionate about learning and uses her gathered information to teach. Once she has the basics for her basis, Honey can expand on the information with further investigation.

Selfless
Even with the lack of her own personal safety, she often takes on an almost motherly role when it comes to the care of friends and fellow clanmates. She wants to ensure their safety and would easily put herself in danger so long as she could get anyone else out of the line of fire. Honey takes threads to the heart and follows through with her own when it comes to the lives of others. Intimidation isn't something easily accomplished for the rusty brown feline, often more than willing to stare a threat in the eye and laugh in its face rather than turn her back on anyone she cares for. The warrior is very agile and skilled in her training o fighting and defense; she has made sure to become a force not to reckon with, but she does get doubtful of herself from time to time due to the realization that she is harming others whom are just following orders as she does. Not every feline wants to go to war after all, and she tends to try and go for known trouble causers and become a mechanism of defense than a beast of death.

----Neutral

Eccentric
Honey is an extremist in every sense of the word. Due to her purist of new knowledge she can be seen as very hyperactive and dives into ideas and new 'experiments' without thought for personal safety. This tends to come of frightening and even misinterpret these eccentric acts to her having a few screws loose in her head. To see the feline stalking armadillo wolves from afar and become preoccupied with observing and noting new information could create for her ideas in developing better hunting, stalking, fighting and even bending movements. This research she has is something she loves to discuss, sometimes aloud and to nobody in particular, but it wouldn't be uncommon to see Honey talking and muttering to herself in her sleep or even hear she has named the beasts that she has been observing. She's rather hard to take seriously due to the amount of excitement in her eyes when she's talking about something she saw that day - which could literally be anything from a new adaption of a hunting technique to 'and then they took a massive shit!'

Curious
Honey doesn't like to be bored, so she often preoccupies herself with observing and learning of things around her. She's been caught watching her prey without bothering to hunt it and keeping a dangerously close eye to spy on more predator-like animals. This misunderstood sense of adventure has led to broken rules.

Messy
Honey isn't the neatest cat; she actually tends to be a bit of a mess. She moves around and drools in her sleep, slacks of on personal hygiene until it's bothering others and has a nasty habit of waiting until her pelt is a disaster to even clean it.

----Bad

Emotional
Her happy state is also often countered; she has been seen to be completely depressed and in emotional distress because she creates attachments to certain observational subjects who are apart of a circle of life in which they can die or become wounded themselves. This sympathetic reaction towards even enemies of WaterClan is a result of the drive to learn from different perspectives; anything from news of a tragic death in an enemy's clan to seeing an injured hostile creature has provoked emotion from the young warrior. It is also a distraction; her emotions can get the better of her and create mistakes or even manipulate her actions.

Obsessive
There is a difference to want to learn more to being obsessed with knowledge. Even as a kitten Honey had been called 'annoying' as the literal embodiment of the child who wouldn't stop asking 'why?'. Why are we enemies, why do we attack each other, why don't we eat hog monkeys, why are we normal when there are owl cats? These questions had given her some credit from elders as 'insightful' and 'obnoxious'. This obsessive drive has allowed herself to put her own life at risk along with others, as instead of turning around and reporting something to her chief, Honey would be expected as one to investigate until there are no questions left. This is clearly dangerous, as her lack of self care has proven to be a huge hindrance and hazard to her own life.

Confrontational
The threat of her clan always seem to linger in this felines mind; lives of those she cares for in danger, confrontation and hostility of creatures and clans alike are a fear she has not only come to terms with but has made a mental goal to obliterate. Her serious side seems to have become more than something as simple as following orders and instead Honey can be seen as aggressive. While she has yet to need to follow through with any of her threats, the warrior has had a history of taking an enemy, and allowing them to walk away after a serious threat on their life. Even worse, these feelings to not just lie towards the clans enemies. With a broad view on life and study, Honey also has a bad tendency to argue with fellow clan mates and even her own leader should she firmly dig her paws in the ground and disagree or just see an action as wrong. This serious side of her has caused both verbal and physical disputes inside her own home. This type of behaviors also seems to give off a distaste for authority; while she respects it and wishes to be known as a good warrior she can't help but feel sometimes that decisions must be made and a leader isn't always one to make them.

History

Before Birth
Once upon a time there were two hard working felines who were known to always put their clan before their own needs. Cliff, a strong brown tabby Turkish Angora, had become famous for surviving and living off of a single piece of prey a day during the harshest winter so others would have food and bringing back useful items from abandoned human areas. Heather, a red Maine Coon, became noted for her strength after leading a successful patrol to push back invading Hog Monkeys. Nobody would have ever said the two were in love, but they had seemed fond of one anothers company. By the time Heather became pregnant, nobody could say they were surprised. The two weren't in love, but the cared for another and held a dedication to their clan. Their kits, they decided, would become a healthy part of that circle of life.

Kithood
The litter was small; two little faes named Honey and Pebble survived when the season ended. Naturally, their beginning was filled with the confusion all kits faced in their small and blind little world, small memory space a gift when their brother was missing and they became focused more on each other. The two spent the better half of their Nursery days getting in the way. They pestered the Elders for tales and harassed the apprentices to play with them or made ridiculous claims about the day they would become apprentices. There was one tom kitten that was just a bit younger than Honey that she had taken a bit liking to named Root. When Pebble became more independent from her littermate, Honey took to Root, convincing and pleading the more docile male to join her on her adventures. This bond continued through kithood; Honey leading her friend through the camp, up trees, into the water and watched as Root was one day able to control a droplet of water. Root was her support when her father came home injured or her mother too weary to put up with nosy kittens. The Elders tales kept her preoccupied from being too bothersome on good days and the kitten's curiosity grew into an ecstatic thirst to see and feel these tales experiences first hand.

As a kitten Honey was easily excitable and Root would stay silent as he watched her start adventures from following a bug in absolute silence to blow up about every detail later, to talking her out of a death mission to go watch the Catgators or stalk Hog Monkeys. The discussions of the later usually only subsided when he promised they could go do those things when they were apprentices. Honey had became a wild flurry of fur and Root her conscious.

Apprenticeship
The day the three were made apprentices was one bustled with excitement. Heather would dote over her daughters just as much as Root's did him. The three were lined up before their leader, the clan watching them as Pebble, Root and Honey were welcomed to the rank of an apprentice. Shortly after the ceremony, Cliff and Heather presented each of their daughters with animal skin pouches to carry water in, even presenting Root with one as well for being like a son to them and a good friend of Honey's. Excitement had lingered in the rusty brown ticked tabby's pelt all day, bounding around her mentor Seal all day and pushing the chocolate tom all day. It became a question of who was mentoring who as she demanded him to speed up on her tour of the territory, or to do sparring sessions with Root. Naturally, there were days Honey became grounded to camp for her behavior until she calmed down. On these days there was a jealousy that made her feel more isolated from her own sister and clinging once more to Root. When Seal would refuse to take her out from either her over zealous tendencies or he had patrols to do, Heather would take her daughter out and try and teach her some bending. When Honey couldn't do it, she would get frustrated and ask Root to spar with her so she could at least learn to fight. One day she learned that Pebble couldn't bend, and Honey grew fearful she would share the same fate.

It took time, Root would redirect her feelings towards bending as he had seemed to taken to bending easily. Between Root and Seal, Honey finally learned to control the waves. When she came back to camp that night she was an ecstatic ball of happiness.. but the crestfallen expression on her sisters face made her fall silent. When the clan woke up the following morning, Pebble was missing. All of the camp sent out to look for her, the fear of foul play and such leaving the camp uneasy. Cliff led a patrol to one of the abandoned human territories and even when his patrol returned... The Angora wasn't seen again. Pebble never turned up either. It was sad, but Honey carried in her beliefs that the two were fine - maybe lost, or maybe who knew what else, but that they were okay even if they had passed. Seal would remind her from time to time that there was nothing wrong with missing those who were gone, but that it was a normal part of life - and she had her own life to work on. Even still, while her sister and father were missing Honey couldn't help a new air come around her mother seemed to have grown more distant.

Root and Honey worked together from that day on to focus on their fighting and bending and combining them together alongside their mentors. However, due to certain events, Seal would not allow Honey to be named a Warrior on schedule, saying she still needed discipline. When there was some disagreement on the matter, he allowed her to try the ice dodging hours after Root. However, when Honey was left to her own devices she found that she was getting ahead of herself and crashed, slipping into the water.

While Root was named a warrior, the rustic she-cat still had a sway over him and convinced him they should take a look outside their territory. It was foolish really, the two creeping alongside the bank of AirClan's bog. Root tried on several occasions to convince her to return. It wasn't even a spying mission, Honey was just genuinely curious about the world outside her home. She wanted to see if there was a chance they'd get a peek at air benders in action and if there was a way to adapt it into a water-users harmony.

There was an accident, the two swarmed by Catgators with a misdirection and were outnumbered. Honey was thrown aside by a powerful tail and was knocked out when she slammed into a rock. When she woke, feeling pathetic, Root was appeared to be standing over her; AirClan cats surrounding them. The two were badly wounded and were quickly patched up and escorted to WaterClan where they could heal properly - and in so much trouble. Punishment was far from her mind as she watched her friend fail to recover, and eventually pass. For days the usually zany apprentice was silent...

Warriorhood
Facing the ice dodging challenge a second time with her mind more clouded than ever after Root's death, the feline found Seal asking if she wanted to wait. Instead of taking the chance to put it off once more, Honey decided to take the opportunity and try. Unlike the first time, Honey found a calmness come over her, and found herself more focused than ever. She passed.

When the day came that she was named a warrior, she smiled and didn't allow herself to speak until she held a personal vigil for the loss of her friend. Honey came to terms with the fact that she would probably never see her father, her sister, and Root again... She wasn't as excited as before at first; it took Seal and Heather to convince the young warrior that Root wouldn't want her to give herself up for him. There was one secret she kept with her though... Since coming home from the 'adventure' that costed Root his life, Honey hadn't been able to see out of her left eye as well as she used to. Colors blurred a little and shapes weren't perfect.. When she tried to think of what could have happened she just remembered getting slammed into the rock at the bog. The damage done, Honey decided it wasn't worth bringing up.

While she managed to keep her head on straight, become entranced with the world of forever learning and getting stronger, recently after being named a warrior she had been tested again when her mother left the clans. Heather claimed there was just something wrong in the world that had become, and watching enough death she abandoned her position as a respectable warrior to a loner in abandoned human territories. There wasn't much explanation, but Honey couldn't say that she would miss her.

It was around this time that she started looking to the younger felines of her clan. Her mother hadn't really paid too much mind to her or her sister when they were young, and Honey couldn't help but wonder why that was. It was true, kits were certainly a handful, but she certainly wouldn't call any of them annoying. Curious, wide-eyed, the world around them was unknown to them after all and it was odd to her to think that they were expected to just accept that. Honey slowly became like a second mother to apprentices; mostly because while kits were nice to visit their mothers wanted to do the actual mothering. While she has yet to have an apprentice of her own, Honey would offer her support and practice so they could help impress their mentors. However, she has been approached by the mentors before to ask her politely to not get into others ways. The felines confrontational side was given to light when she and another warrior got into a disagreement about how much outside help an apprentice should have without their mentor.

More fights followed as she felt her loyalty was put into question when someone asked where she was sneaking off to. Honey tried to explain she was doing research; being reminded often about her sight internally she recognized the Catgators speed in the water - she wanted to see if there was a way to recreate that speed. She was keeping eyes on the creatures in their clans territory, watching other creatures hunt and sticking close to the borders to see if there was any way to learn the other benders movements without getting too close. However, she has been caught by her own clanmates and other clansmen near the edge of the territory and has been on both ends of starting fights and being dragged into them. This came to bring an air of tension between her fellow warriors and herself, putting her at odds ends with her own chief as she was grounded to the camp for awhile once more.

She still watches other predator animals, but she's done her best to recently stay away from trouble of other clans borders. Admittedly she still had her curiosities, and she tried incorporating the few moves she seen in skirmishes for a new technique, but the work is slow.

Bending:
Waterbending; Honey learned from Seal's strength and Root's more docile form to use her tail and head to direct and sweep water. Much like airbenders, Honey has learned to mentally concentrate through her tail to direct water whips, and ears and head  motions as well as her tail to direct octopus arms. She moved similar to airbenders - agile and fluid.

Techniques:

- Water Whip||The water whip is a commonly used move that involves creating a lashing tendril of water to swipe at an opponent. The shape, size, and length are all determined by a waterbender's control, and more powerful benders can create larger whips, or ones of greater finesse. The whip can be sharpened into a blade that can slice through metal with relative ease.|| Tail is used to direct water whip.

- Phase Change||Waterbenders also possess the ability to alter the physical state of the water they manipulate, between liquid, solid and gas, at will.|| Ears twitch in directions to concentrate the phase of water.

- Ice claws||Using ice claws involves the bender drawing water around their fingers and freezing it. They can also be sent forward, shooting them at an opponent. A waterbender can also use this as an advantage; being small and unnoticeable|| Front and back paws move to direct ice claws.

+ Octopus Form || A body of water formed around the user into eight or so whip-like limbs which can be used to grasp or strike an opponent or to intercept and seize incoming attacks.|| Ears, head, and tail are used to control octopus arms.

+ Water Dome||A master waterbender can collect water from the rain, forming a dome which can be used for both offense and defense.|| This is still a work in progress that works only a few times. Root was skilled in this as a young warrior and tried to teach her.

Items:
--Water pouch: This item was found when Honey was hardly an apprentice, a gift from her father. Her mother was the one who taught her how to collect water and to use this pouch when she left camp so there would always be available water. It was found in the ruins of the human city and brought back to camp.
--Catowl, Cranefish, Otter Pengiun and Toucan Puffin, and Turtle Duck feathers collected over the moons to decorate her fur.
--Turtle Duck Shell; this is kept near her nest that has been hallowed out to keep water by her side even as she sleeps. Most of the time the water is used to drink when she wakes up too lazy to move for a bit, but she says there's no reason to be unprepared.

Roleplay sample:
The breeze moved through the feathers in her fur, eyes closed as the wind made her feel like she may as well be flying. The ruddy mess was raised on end as she moved to the next tree over, claws digging into bark to prevent herself from slipping. Amber eyes looked up as she spotted an Owlcat moving over head, probably hunting itself.Ears twitched and she decided to follow; slipping to the ground and smiling to herself.

The moon shone brightly ahead, the gentle call of the wings rolling off with mist from the water not too far behind her. Large brown eyes followed the feathered feline above and stayed close to the shadows. She waited until she watched the creature of flight swoop down and snatch up it's own prey. With a purr she followed suit, dashing into the area of prey and focused on the small sack of water at her side. She felt the winged creature above get annoyed with her interference, she let a stream of water whip out to scare it back so she could focus without competition. There would be plenty prey of the woods after all, but she needed this one. Returning home with nothing tonight wouldn't be acceptable to her.

Claws sunk into muscle and flesh and Honey was quick to take her prey out of sight of the angry avenger above her. If she left now, he would have time to hunt for himself still. Focusing on the water around her she led it back mentally into the sack, a purr in her throat. Many learned to bend from other creatures, but the learning was limitless - the others should just continue watching and learning...
