The Theory Behind Kid: A Whole New Meaning to "Will You Spend the Rest of Your Life With Me?"

Kid is Lord Death's son; created from a soul fragment like Asura. Look at how Lord Death and Asura did NOT age. The way Kid acts (ignored the OCD that isn't really showing up as excessively anymore) and his 'godly' knowledge of things I think it's obvious he's already older than he looks and will probably age physically - but slowly- until he hits his 'peak' of power (usually in the late twenties) and stops aging. Of course Kid's going to age like a reaper though - there's no question about this since Shinigami-sama's mask broke as Kid inherits power from him and became the new Death. His age now seems like a mystery since he's been going awhile without Weapons; but a part of me likes to think he's closer to Kim's age than his own weapons.

Even if he was the physical age and mental age; now he's probably going to stop aging the same now that he's.... Death.

No matter what, Kid is going to outlive Liz. What made these kids hard was that they're Human/Reaper, so I thought about their aging process. Would Kid's genes override the human ones, would they age like humans, etc. More than likely though, their children would long outlive Liz too. However, Liz isn't just human, she's a Weapon, which may tilt some genetics her way as well.

Then there's the possibility Kid may be able to 'adjust' the children's genetic makeup. Maybe, maybe not.

Random thoughts and theories that aren't actually mentioned in the fanfiction:

-Since Death the Kid doesn't have an exact 'Family Name', Thompson was passed down onto the kids.

-Angie is Black Star and Tsubaki's oldest child's Meister.

-Angie aged normally until her late teens when her aging grew slower.

-Angie is extremely close to her mother; a part of her is aware and afraid of ever losing her.

-Angie helps Liz take care of Huit when she can. She also notices her fathers step back about punishing Luci so she does it so Liz wont have to play the 'bad parent'.

-Luci is the only one that ages normally; that and her Weapon form show she gets most of her genetic make up from her mother.

-Luci was easily influenced by her Aunt Patty to drive her father crazy by trying to be as asymmetrical as possible. She seemed to have gotten sick of being groomed and watched over so she started to rebel. Kid and Liz never put a stop to it; for Kid it was tempting but he wanted her to be herself since he knew she would probably be the first child he'd outlive.

-Luci doesn't remember Huit being her twin; though she's often wonder why he wasn't aging normally. It wasn't until she realized Angie stopped growing older too did she ask.

-It seems since Luci and Huit are fraternal twins, their genetic gene code split - one Human-Weapon, one Shinigami-Meister.

-When Liz found out 'Huit' meant 'Eight' she had thought about changing it. In the end she never did anything about it, realizing it was rather funny.

-Huit actually ages slowly; when Luci hits her mid-teens, Huit wont even be ten. Both Kid and Liz's fear is that he won't even remember Liz before she passes.

-Huit doesn't really remember Liz, though he recalls her warmth - Kid's shown him plenty of pictures of their family together though; he never understood why his mother and sister aged so fast until they were already long gone.
